Testable Subject Areas on the New York Bar Examination
The New York Bar Examination consists of three parts: The Multistate Bar Examination (MBE), the New York section, and one Multistate Performance Test (MPT) question. The New York section consists of five essay questions and 50 multiple choice questions prepared by the New York Board of Law Examiners. The exam is administered over two days in February and July each year during the last week of the month that includes a Wednesday.
