John C. Jeffries Jr.

University of Virginia School of Law

John Jeffries is a leading scholar in constitutional law, civil rights and federal courts. Dean Jeffries joined the Virginia law faculty in 1975, where he taught until serving as Dean from the fall of 2001 to June 2008. He received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A. from Yale University. He has co-authored casebooks in civil rights and federal courts, as well as published many articles in those fields. Dean Jeffries has been teaching students to prepare for the bar exam for over 15 years.

Professor Guzman teaches contracts at Berkeley School of Law, Boalt Hall. Prior to coming to Boalt Hall in 1998, Professor Guzman taught as a visiting professor at Harvard Law School, University of Chicago Law School, the University of Virginia Law School, Vanderbilt Law School, the University of Hamburg, and the National University Law School in Bangalore, India.

Professor Karlan joined the Stanford Law School faculty in 1999. She is the co-author of three leading casebooks and is a frequent commentator on legal issues. Professor Karlan received her B.A. (magna cum laude) and her M.A. from Yale University and her JD from Yale Law School.

One of the most popular professors at the University of Michigan Law School, Professor Clark is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Towson State University. He joined the Michigan faculty in 1995. He has contributed numerous articles to law journals and presented at legal symposiums around the country.

Professor Dana is Professor of Law and Associate Dean for Faculty Research at Northwestern University School of Law. He has published widely in the area of property and land use law, and has published a book on eminent domain and takings. Professor Dana graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, and summa cum laude from Harvard University with an interdisciplinary honors major emphasizing government, economics, history, and sociology.
